It happened at about 15:55 GMT on Saturday on the A44 in Wickhamford near to Longdon Hill and involved a beige Dacia Duster and a blue Toyota Yaris. The driver of the Dacia Duster, a man in his 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene while an 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
